GREAT GRACE

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children,
(Psalm 103:17)

The grace of God descended not only on David but also upon his descendants. The Psalmist says, “For His merciful kindness is great toward us, and the truth of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!” (Psalm 117:2). The Bible says, “For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him” (Psalm 103:11). Again it is stated, “But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children's children” (Psalm 103:17).

King Solomon says, “You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day” (1 Kings 3:6).

My beloved father Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran waited patiently at the feet of God for seven years to receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit. God filled him with His Holy Spirit in an abundant measure and also granted him His gifts and power. He saw Jesus Christ face to face for three hours. Since then, the grace of God began operating in His life. God used him mightily in His ministry. Millions of people around the world received blessings, healing, peace, joy and the grace of God through him. Truly a divine experience! It is because of him, we, his descendants have also been bestowed with God’s great grace. God graciously enables us to continue His ministry by pouring His grace generation after generation. He shall reveal His righteousness and grace to you and your children as well.

When we fear the Lord the sun of righteousness will rise upon us (Malachi 4:2). It is this righteousness, which is protecting us even today. It is because of the prayers of many we are established firmly in God’s ministry. It is certainly a great grace indeed. He will certainly do it for you also. He shall enable the grace that is upon you to descend on your children also. David says, “Goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life” (Psalm 23:6). In the same way goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. Let us praise God for this great grace.

A person visited the palace in England. A guide was taking him around. There he saw a big chariot. He was really amazed to see two seats behind the chariot. They were of golden colour. So he asked the guide, “Only the Queen will sit in the chariot. Why then there are two seats behind?” The guide replied, “Two soldiers will sit behind the Queen. They will go with the Queen wherever she goes in order to protect her.” Just like these two soldiers, the Lord has also given us goodness and mercy to protect us. On this day, be of good cheer! It is God’s desire to bless you abundantly with His goodness and mercy.
Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

It is Your grace and mercy that is sustaining me everyday. I trust and firmly believe that I am not consumed because Your mercies are new every morning. Your mercy endures forever. Strengthen my heart to be of good courage while I wait patiently on You alone - my Rock, Refuge, Shield, Song, Salvation, Fortress, Good Shepherd, Friend and everything to me. You are my all in all. I surrender myself and my entire household into Your loving hands. May Your perfect grace and mercy surround us all through this day to lean on You for everything.

In Your precious name I pray.
